Parent Coordination

Parent coordination services are offered by Susan Scholz-Rubin, Ph.D., Psychologist. Dr. Susan Scholz-Rubin has been in private
practice for 25 years and is currently the co-director of the Miami Counseling & Resource Center.
She is the founder and director of the Women's Resource and Counseling Center (WRCC), incorporated in 1977, the only women's
counseling service in the South Florida area. WRCC has become a special place where women of all ages come for counseling and
support as they continue to balance and reshape their lives. The important relationships in women's lives are recognized so that
parents, partners, siblings, and children are included in therapy when appropriate.
In 1981, Dr. Scholz-Rubin became a divorce mediator. When marital hopes end in divorce, a state of tragic tension often exists.
The cost of discord is both financial and emotional, deeply touching all members of the family. Dr. Scholz-Rubin assists divorcing
couples in having open and cooperative communication. In 1992, she opened the Divorce & Family Counseling Center (DFCC), where
individuals and couples explore either rebuilding their relationships or giving serious consideration to separation and divorce.
She also sees teens significantly impacted by divorce or other family problems.
