Family Mediation Training

Family mediation is utilized as a means to resolve family disputes quickly and efficiently. Items to be discussed include
understanding conflict resolution, power imbalances, emotional and psychological issues, and negotiation techniques. This
40-hour training program is approved by the Florida Supreme Court and combines lecture, discussion and role playing to
provide comprehensive understanding and practical skills development in family mediation.
Successful completion of the course grants 48 CLE credits (including 5 in Ethics) from the Florida Bar, and a Certificate
of Completion. Additionally, successful completion of the course satisfies a major part of the requirements for
certification as a Circuit Civil Mediator by the Supreme Court of Florida.
