Per the Florida Supreme Court’s decision of May 11, 2006, mediation certification in family, dependency, and county is now open to individuals with sufficient qualifying points - which are awarded on a range of professional degrees, language facility, ADR experience, and a variety of other factors* - regardless of career discipline or professional background.

For lawyers considering a career in alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and additionally now for individuals qualifying for mediation certification regardless of professional background, Mr. Rubin provides guidance in evaluating a career in ADR.
